FROM THE NEWS NEST: Whitney Houston Dies at 48

Grammy Award-winning singer, Whitney Houston, was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday, February 11, at 3:55pm PST. Her untimely death on the eve prior to The 54th Grammy’s has her innumerable fans and the many musicians and artists she has inspired tweeting and talking about the Whitney Houston we will always love. The cause of death is still unknown at this time.

Although we are all aware of the many struggles Ms. Houston dealt with in her life, we at The Owl Mag will always remember her as a strong woman with a powerful and awe-inspiring singing voice that for more than a moment changed the world of music.
