“We’re so glad to be back!”… “Los Angeles, it’s so good to be here!”… “You don’t know how good it feels to be in LA!”… The Temper Trap was beyond stoked about being back in Los Angeles performing for their fans on a chilly Monday night at El Rey Theater. They’ve spent the last two years working on a new album which will see the light of day later this summer, and we in LA were lucky to experience most, if not all, of their new material live.

Los Angeles band, PAPA, may have been The Temper Trap’s opener but they left the El Rey easily winning-over the LA audience. Lead vocalist/drummer, Darren Weiss, slammed his jams while his cohorts supported with luscious vocals and steady theatrical tunes. This is a band with a long future ahead of it. We recommend you become familiar with PAPA immediately.
