What would’ve been a sleepy Wednesday night in Echo Park was enlivened by the indie pop purveyors of Telekinesis.
Frontman Michael Lerner is always a joy to see on the drums and vocals. Their short but energetic set included new songs from recent release Ad Infinitum as well as earlier favs like “Coast of Carolina” and “Ghosts and Creatures”.
Bassist Eric Elbogen pulled double duty as opener Say Hi. Armed with a mic and laptop he charmed the crowd with songs about vampires from new album Bleeders Digest along with older tunes like “Let’s Talk About Spaceships”.
