Most people recall these guys by their song “I Want To Tear You Apart” from there self-titled debut a couple of years back. Riding the Dark-Wave/Post-Punk revival, the band’s Joy Division and Cure influences are easy to pick up on.
She Wants Revenge hit the stage with their new single “Take the World” from their forthcoming album Valleyheart, out May 24th. Toning down some of their familiar darkness for a brighter soundscapes, the song was a bit of a departure from their signature sound, and the crowd’s coyness reflected it. But everything was back on track by the time they jumped into “These Things,” a song from their debut album.
