Richard Edwards emerges from the brink of death and the ashes of Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s to break all of our hearts with beauty.

For the die-hard Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s fans, the show may have been a little disappointing, heavy on unreleased songs and very light on old favorites. The fans of Richard Edwards as a musician and a person were celebrating his triumphant return from the brink of death with plenty of new music. The heartbreaking Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset came out earlier this year, and there is another album on the horizon. Richard was in great form, picking fun at himself for his retirement, and the audience lovingly paid attention to every word.

Openers Kristen (Coco) Reilly and COTE were fitting choices for the night, with amazing songwriting and beautiful voices.
