PICTURE THIS: Forrest Day + OONA + Lavish Green @ Independent, SF 9/9/2011

With Forrest Day and OONA local to the Bay Area, and Lavish Green in from South Lake Tahoe, it was an all California show at the Independent San Francisco. Lavish Green lead the way with a great set of rock and some pretty impressive drumming. Oona grabbed the crowd's attention with her high energy set and kept the party atmosphere rolling. Forrest Day hit the stage with his unique blend of rock-rap-funk. Even while Forrest Day's drummer Jasper Skydecker swapped out a broken kickdrum. The music continued with guitarist Terrell Liedstrand beatboxing behind Forrest's vocals. All in all, a night of great music.
