YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “Take Me Back Home” by Soulsavers

Today’s treat is a stunning new video from Soulsavers, “Take Me Back Home.” The England-based production duo of Rich Machin and Ian Glover has continued to expand their sound. The latest twist is drafting Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode to do the world weary vocal honors, having been passed the torch by Mark Lanegan.

The video, beautifully lensed by the High 5 Collective, is the perfect match for one of Gahan’s more evocative songs. If you’ve had the fortune in this world to spend any amount of time with someone who is truly meant for you, this will not only speak to you, but rattle you to your bones.

The seeds of this collaboration were sown when Soulsavers did opening honors on the last Depeche Mode tour, and the finished album The Light The Dead Can See is available to stream on their website.
