Balkan Beat Box, promoting their fourth unique album, Give [Crammed Discs] blew the roof off the Fillmore in San Francisco Thursday night. Hundreds of excited BBB fans jumped and danced and raised their hands up to the music. The new songs are bland and uninteresting, but BBB still manages to take my breath away every time they play a song from one of their first two albums, the self titled Balkan Beat Box [JDub Records] and Nu Med [Crammed Discs/JDub Records].
