Radiohead & Britney doing their part for Haiti

Radiohead stepped out of the studio last night long enough to appear at L.A.’s The Music Box so the band could perform at a Haiti benefit show, with all of the proceeds going to Oxfam. Lead singer Thom Yorke was even shocked when he announced that the show raised more than $500K.

Britney Spears is also helping out the earthquake victims by taking the clothes off her back to help. Well, not really. She’s actually donating the dress she wore to the 2008 MTV VMAs for auction. The appearance was one of the first marking her very public comeback, so is sure to garner a good deal of cash on the auction block.
