Monsters of Folk won’t follow up

Despite the success of Monsters of Folk, don’t expect a follow up album, kids.

Forget what you’ve heard on Twitter,Â the band/supergroup is not working on a new album. P.S. Conor Oberst does NOT have a Twitter account, says Oberst’s publicist. Considering they are Monsters of Folk, the group all have their individual projects to focus on: Jim James just launched his own record label, and M. Ward’s second album with Zooey Deschanel as She & Him drops March 23.
