MGMT, My Morning Jacket & more – Sasquatch
Festies seem to be turning to new and interesting ways to announce their line-ups this year, save for one, Coachella. Bonnaroo took to their Myspace announcing an artist every 6 minutes, causing people to continuously update their Twitters at work. Sasquatch went the grassroots route holding a special event launch party at the Crocodile featuring performances by Surfer Blood, Atlas Sound and Fresh Espresso. Tickets for the event were free, so obviously the line was around the block and bursting at the seams. By far one of the most impressive for the 2010 festie season so far, Sasquatch is aiming for capacity this year at the Gorge. We’d be surprised if they didn’t achieve that goal with draws like Pavement and MGMT. So without further adieu, put your flannel on, and groom your moustaches for this epic indie-heavy line-up:
