INTRODUCING: Lobisomem

Think of Lobisomem (aka Brad Loving) as a pioneer for true cross-genre experimentation. Kind of like a more profound Vampire Weekend…with a whole helluva lot more synths. He regular spins in Brooklyn (shocker), New York, and Chicago, cities that are apparently a little bit more up on the scene than us indie-obsessed San Franciscans, and luckily, The Owl Mag stumbled upon a little sampler from his forthcoming album Onze Pedras set to hit stores on September 14. Ladies and gentlemen, check out the following -

  1. where does vampire weekend fit into this?

  2. I was thinking more along the lines of cross-genre experimenting – combining the Jamaican, African Jazz, South American, etc with a personal style all their own. Vampire Weekend was the first comparison that came to mind.
