Guided by Voices to Headline Northside Festival 2011
The L Magazine’s Northside Festival returns to Brooklyn for the third time this June, and promises to be the biggest yet with headlining shows by Guided by Voices (with Wavves), Beirut, and Deervana (Deer Tick playing Nirvana covers, back by popular demand after SXSW). Over 250 bands will play over the four days at more than 25 venues in the neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Other confirmed acts include Twin Sister, Allo Darlin’, Javelin, Ava Luna, Delicate Steve, The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! and Gabriel and the Hounds.
The festival will also include a DIY film festival, art shows, and a series of Northside Ideas panels about creative innovation.
