June 21. 2010 | By Bernadette

This made our weekend so much that we kept it to ourselves until today: Snoop Dogg has released one killer video in tribute to the baddest bitch in vampire lore. His tune “Oh, Sookie” named for the blonde telepath played by Anna Paquin (pictured) on True Blood shows us that even mega-hit singers can be fanboys, too.

Isaac Brock, how we’ve missed you! The lead singer of Modest Mouse has been pretty quiet lately, especially in regards to his side project Ugly Casanova, which we haven’t heard from since 2002. The autopsy results for Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, who died last month at the age of 38, have been released. The musician died of an accidental drug overdose of morphine and fentanyl, an Iowa medical examiner found. The examiner also found that Gray had significant heart disease at the time of his death.
