We’re in total pout-mode that Swedish star Robyn (pictured) isn’t coming anywhere near San Francisco, but we’re sure that some of you will be interested that the super-fun singer will be stopping in the states all through November. Her energy-fused shows coupled with her sweet poppy vocals definitely insure a pretty sweet concert outing.

Man, Jane’s Addiction‘s bassist position seems to be cursed. Just five months after former Guns N’ Roses member Duff McKagan joined the band, the band has announced that they’ve parted ways due to musical differences: “Hey we wanted to thank Duff for helping us write songs for our new record. We love the songs we worked on with him — and the gigs were a blast — but musically we were all headed in different directions. From here Duff is off to work on his own stuff so we wish him all the best,” the band said in an e-mail.

Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon in 1980 devastating hundreds of thousands of music fans, has been denied parole. This is the sixth time Chapman has attempted parole on his 20 years to life sentence; he won’t be able to try again until 2012.
