FROM THE NEWS NEST: Morning Benders, Sea Wolf tribute Bob Dylan and more.

September 22. 2010 | By Bernadette

We always love when musicians that we love pay tribute to musicians that they love! The Morning Benders, Sea Wolf (pictured) and Peter Morén from Peter Bjorn and John have joined several other artists to cover the entirety of Bob Dylan‘s 1965 album Bringing It All Back Home. Subterranean Home Sick Blues: A Tribute to Bob Dylan’s Bringing It All Back Home drops Oct. 5.

Amy Winehouse must have figured out that it’s bad to burn to bridges, especially when she hasn’t got a crazy amount left. Last week Winehouse took to her Twitter to let producer Mark Ronson know that he was dead to her for taking half the credit for her hit album Back to Black. Yesterday she was apologizing: “ronson i love you; that make it better? you knoww i love you- it’s a jew thingz.”

Earlier this weekend Bruno Mars, up-and-coming R&B singer as well as the voice on Travis McCoy‘s hit “Billionaire,” was arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession in Las Vegas. Well, that’s one way to get PR when you’re about to drop your debut album. (Sure, we’re cynics.)
