FROM THE NEWS NEST: Man commits suicide at local Swell Season show and more.

A 32-year-old man from San Jose apparently committed suicide Thursday night at the Swell Season (pictured) concert at the Mountain Winery in the Saratoga Hills. Michael Edward Pickels left his seat mid-concert and fell the equivalent of three stories from the roof onto the stage, falling near lead singer Glen Hansard. The band, in a state of shock, canceled the rest of the concert and released the following statement: “The band, crew and all involved with them are shocked and saddened by the unfortunate events of last night. Our hearts go out to the victim … and to his friends and family.”

Weezer is apparently in talks to perform the sweetest tour ever! According to lead singer Rivers Cuomo, the band is gauging the interest for a tour that would see the band performing two nights in each city: on the first night they would perform the entirety of 1994′s Weezer (commonly known as the “Blue” album), and on the second, Pinkerton. Um… sign us up.

Finally, check out this ridiculously awesome track recently released by Cee Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley called “Fuck You.” Don’t know how on earth it’s going to get radio play, but we’re digging the super-retro, vindictive vibe of the song.
