Can old men rock as hard as they used to? When The Who took the stage at the Superbowl, we ticked off a box in the no category, but when we heard the Buzzcocks are back for one hell of a tour, we are ready to tick off like 10,000 boxes on the hell yes side. The Brit punk pioneers will kick off their first major U.S. tour since the early ’90s in May and will be here in the Bay Area in August at Oakland’s Uptown. (We can’t believe they’ll be at such an awesomely intimate venue!)

Erykah Badu has pissed off the entire city of Dallas with her new controversial video for her single “Window Seat” where she recreates JFK’s assassination at the very place it happened. Nude. We don’t know what the nude part has to do with it, but she says that she’d definitely honoring the dead president. “I would never disrespect JFK. his revolutionary thinking is my inspiration. my performance art has been grossly misinterpreted by many,” Badu wrote on her Twitter.

Founding Guns N’ Roses member Duff McKagan has joined Jane’s Addiction, who has been out of a bassist since Eric Avery quit a month ago. The band made the announcement a couple of days ago after both Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro posted photos of McKagan rehearsing with the band.
