Berkleemusic.com, the award-winning online continuing education division of Boston’s Berklee College of Music, is offering an online course in Rock History that begins on April 2, 2012. This first of its kind online course chronicles the last 60 years of one of the most memorable eras of music by taking an in-depth look into everything rock 'n roll: from the greatest bands and moments to learning about managers, the media, behind the scenes, and the cultural trends that followed it all.

To really turn up the volume, Berkleemusic.com tapped Steve Morse to write and teach the course. For those

of you who don’t know, Steve Morse was senior rock writer for the Boston Globe for 30-plus years and brings a lifetime of real world rock 'n roll material to the online classroom. So, get ready to pump your fist, spark your lighter, and break out your rock band buttons because the school of online rock is cranking it up come April 2nd.
