Ceremony took a big leap forward on their fifth and most recent album, the post-punk opus The L-Shaped Man. Inspired in part by a breakup frontman Ross Farrar went through, the album found the band evolving beyond their Bay Area hardcore beginnings, into something darker, but no less primal. Farrar’s reflections on loss are laid atop propulsive basslines and guitars that spiral their way into the darkest, most wounded parts of your soul.

Now the band is bringing their energy to a show on Sunday, February 26th at The Chapel in San Francisco, with support from Philadelphia punkers Nothing, Bay Area noisemakers The World, and Oakland’s Marbled Eye. It’s the only Bay Area show they’ve got scheduled for 2017, and we want to help you get in.

We’re giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky winner. Send an email to contests@theowlmag.com by 10AM PST on February 24th for your chance to win. Be sure to include your full name in the body of the email and “Ceremony @ TheChapelSF” in the subject line.

Tickets for the show are available for purchase here for $18.
