It’s rather unusual to see a line of people wrapped around the corner of 17th and Missouri at 5 in the afternoon on a weekday, but then again, it’s not every day one of England’s most hyped bands is performing 2 sold-out shows in a single night. Indi

e rockers Alt-J provided the perfect workday salvation for a considerable number of San Franciscans at Bottom of the Hill Tuesday night after LA’s Wildcat! Wildcat! kicked things off with a set full of smooth guitars, falsetto vocals, and a crowd-pleasing cover of Tears For Fears‘ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” Later, Alt-J took the stage to perform a diverse set of songs from their critically acclaimed debut album, An Awesome Wave, as well as older fan favorites such as “Buffalo.”
