Cowel Quits American Idol
It’s the end of an era: Simon Cowell is leavingAmerican Idol after this season to focus on X Factor. Somehow, it didn’t hurt so much when the drunk-seeming Paula Abdul left the show last year.
Cowell, known for his abrasive and more-than-straightforward feedback, was offered more money to stay, but he’d rather concentrate on being a judge on his other show X Factor, which will also be on FOX this year.
