If you haven’t heard British outfit London Grammar, “Wasting My Young Years” is an excellent place to start. One of their more sombre releases, it’s an ode to youthful angst that is probably better not listened to while feeling emo. It is, nonetheless, a delicate piano portrait of what is ultimately FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). The official video is a moody and visually striking accompaniment, that serves to richen the experience.

For a change of pace, “Hey Now” is another London Grammar well worth the listen. A little more ambient, a little less black in tone, it also showcases the haunting vocals of Hannah Reid, which have been compared to fellow pom Florence Welch. Get around them, y’all.
