I was lucky eneogh to meet the late Bradley Novel in 1990 at a afternoon Huntington Beach party at "rage's" apartment complex.I saw the Long Beach Dub allstars often.I was planned & ready for this show, 50 yard line seats that we did'nt even sit in until Sublime took the stage.It felt weird watching Rome take the stage fronting a blue tank top & Mets hat.The opening song 4/29 sucked beacause the sound man had a horrible "loud"buzz coming off Erics bass that led to boos.Then a "click" fixed & then he won me & appeatanly 19,999 fans over.His guitar was GREAT!.He nailed it.a 10.They were GREAT! I'm serious.People around me were laughing out loud,after each song "perfect" & "unbelievable.It was'nt sloppy,& he paid atention to detail.Late in the show Rome showed his class when he yelled " RIP" Bradley.I lost my voice yelling & everyone stayed till all 20+ songs were over.It may of been 1 of the best sets I've ever seen.TRUST me SUBLIME IS BACK ! I cant wait for the albulm.
