American conceptual indie folk group Okkervil River will be performing with acclaimed singer/songwriter/new American folk artist Matthew E. White at the Fillmore on 10/22. Perfect for a Fall date, this show should be winding, nostalgic, misty with intrigue, and full of inspiration. His newest album Outer Face is self-quoted as “the gentleman’s psychedelia,” and Matthew E. White will no doubt lead the night with gentle, sexy, expansive purpose into Okkervil River’s folksy set featuring songs from their newest album Silver Gymnasium.
