FREE TICKETS: The Naked and the Famous @ Music Box, 10/17/11

Want to get naked? Want to be famous? Can’t help you with that, but we can help you to see New Zealand’s The Naked and Famous along with The Chain Gang of 1974 and LA locals White Arrows at the Fonda Music Box on Monday, October 17th!

Their massive tune “Young Blood” has a lot of “yeah, yeah, yeahs” in it, is one of the catchiest electro-pop tunes in ages, and is pretty much an ode to living life as young as possible. If you want to score a pair of tickets to the show, leave us a comment with a cool fact about New Zealand. Yes, it can even be “Lord of the Rings” related. Contest ends October 14.

I'D LOVE THOSE TICKETS!!! Fun fact: for each person who lives in New Zealand, the country produces 100 kg of butter and 65 kg of cheese each year. Who doesn't love butter and cheese??

A kiwi is not a fruit – it is New Zealand’s native flightless bird and a slang term for a New Zealander. Kiwis call the fruit “kiwifruit” – they are also known as Chinese Gooseberries.
