FREE TICKETS: Lykke Li @ Fox Theater, Pomona 11/7/11
Some of the prettiest (physically and sonically) pop seems to come from Sweden. Oh, hey, look; Lykke Li is from Sweden! But far from just a pretty face, the lady has got some feistiness and sass in her arsenal asserting some fierce womanpower in her single “Get Some.”
“Like a shotgun needs an outcome. I’m your prostitute. You gon’ get some.” Alrighty, then.
Lykke Li along with fellow Swedes, First Aid Kit (also easy on the eyes), are coming to the Fox Theater in Pomona on November 7th and we’re trying to make it so that you get some tickets. Leave a comment with the name of another famous Swede and a pair of tickets to see Lyyke Li could be yours.
Go ahead… Google “Famous Swedish people.” We’ll wait.

I saw Lykke Li at Way Out West in Goteborg, where I lived for a while. My family is from Sweden, but I am American. She is truly special. I do love Kleerup, Robyn, etc as the others mentioned but an artist that is famous in Sweden but not as well known in America is Radio Dept. I saw RD in Sweden with Beach House and they were very cool!
