Pigeon John is like the hip hop Jason Mraz. Fast spitter, known for cutesy and witty lyrics, and the ladies go bonkers for the dude. Oh, and they both wear an effen fedora. “Before We’re Gone,” (off Dragon Slayer out 10/12) is a side of PJ that we always knew was there but got lost in all the silliness. Here he’s emotive and genuine… introspective with purpose. It’s a love song with a bit of an acoustical Gym Class Heroes vibe. Enjoy this freebie.
