VIDEO: Introducing Silver Swans

Here’s a little holiday treat for you courtesy of our resident video guru – Eugenia Loli-Queru and Silver Swans. The much hyped, electro-pop duo comprised of – Ann Yu (LoveLikeFire) and producer Jon Waters – has quickly become the frontrunner for Bay Area bands to watch in 2010. We sat them down in the iconic-ly hipster-centric Dolores Park for a little wintertime Q&A. It turns out the Silver Swans’ sound (how’s that for alliteration?) is the perfect background music for random shots of hyperactive dogs and lazy hipsters. There’s also a guest appearance by a certain local label owner/photographer extraordinaire and a special holiday shout out.

Silver Swans are releasing Realize the Ghost (Tricycle Records ) on January 28th at the Cafe Du Nord alongside The Frail and Jonesin.
