Empires is a four-piece band from Chicago that you’ll be hearing a lot of in 2014. “How Good Does It Feel” is a rousing nü-New Wave anthem signifying their successful leap from DIY rockers to the big leagues. The Owl Mag will be on the road with Empires this Spring as the group introduces material from upcoming release Orphans, produced by John Congleton (St. VincentWye Oak). In addition to opening for Margot & The Nuclear So And So’s, Empires will make a few pit stops at notable festivals old and new.
