Zelma Stone is the project of SF’s Chloe Zelma Studebaker, that has thus far generated the Layla EP on Honey House Records from early last year. It’s an effective introduction, with the single “Light Bulb Boy”, and the caustic “Cut Hair” standing out. Look for a new EP, Dreamland, this year.

In October, they recorded a Twin Peaks Session, featuring just Chloe and Tyler English on slide guitar. Shot on a scenic rooftop, the three new songs include a stunning take on the new EP’s title track, and whet the appetite for what comes next.¬†Catch Zelma Stone live at the Rickshaw Stop with French Cassettes and Fast Times on 1/24. Mark your calendars for the Bay Area-wide Twin Shrieks Fest on March 7th (Oakland) and 8th (SF).
