Looking for a broadly respectable indie band that will garner you nods of approval when you’re in the car and not sure what to put on to please a crowd of music aficionados? Milagres’ sophomore album, Glowing Mouth, will definitely get someone in the backseat asking, “Who is this?” And it should come as no surprise that since they’re based in Brooklyn, Milagres has hardly escaped a review without being compared to Grizzly Bear, which is far from the worst thing that could happen to a band. Their brand of undeniably easy listening indie is certainly a plus and one worth giving their single “Here to Stay” a listen to. I’ll even go so far to bet that you’ll want to hear the whole album after.
