HEAR THIS: FIDLAR
FIDLAR have been creating quite the stir here in their hometown of Los Angeles. With so many artists emerging from the thriving LA music scene, it’s a bit difficult to stand out from the rest. FIDLAR (standing for “Fuck It Dawg Life’s A Risk”) seems to have no trouble doing so. Besides possessing one of the most unique band names in rock music, they are also known for their fun and energetic live shows. This four-piece (Brandon, Zac, brothers Max and Elvis) play a style of lo-fi punk rock, not unlike other bands that are more popular. Already having shared the stage with such bands as Wavves, No Age, Reigning Sound, etc. Also, being featured in Coverse and Filter Mag’s “Hometown LA” series, FIDLAR shows no signs of slowing down.
