UPCOMING: Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin – November 5th – 7th

It always pleases us when there are music festivals that are properly named. Lord only knows whatCoachella, Bumpershoot,and Bonnaroo stand for. After browsing the lineup for Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin this fall (November 5th – 7th), it’s guaranteed to be FUN, fun, and uhh… fun.

Take for example, Weird Al Yankovic is headlining one evening. We can get down with a little “White and Nerdy” and hopefully some “Amish Paradise.” But that’s not where it begins, or ends. The overall lineup is quite the clusterfuck of music genres all thrown into one place at one time for the soul purpose of well…fun. (How many times can you use fun in one article, by the way?)

Other big names include MGMT, DEVO, GWAR, Bad Religion,and, oh so many more. There’s even comedy, cause what would a festival be without comedy? Early bird tickets were announced today for the first 1,000 purchasers at $112.58. What an odd price. Maybe we’ll see Austin before SXSW this year after all.
