P-Fork premiered Xiu Xiu’s video for “This Too Shall Pass Away” (For Freddy) [Kill Rock Stars] created by artist C. Spencer Yeh. It kind of looks like something MC Lars would animate if he were stuck in Kid Icarus hell. Jamie Stewart’s haunting narrative and observations on vices, relationships, and sexuality play out well in 2D. Can you decipher what’s going on? Too much Tetris? Too much technology?
