YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “Warpaint” by Warpaint

Director Ted Newsome has created an underwater wonderland for Warpaint‘s “Warpaint” video: the black and white footage of the above-ground world feels less real than the technicolor oceanscape. The Warpaint women each find their way to a literal tea party under the sea, wearing vibrant Victorian-esque outfits (one even has a parasol) and outlandish makeup. With all the ethereal beauty down there, I’d happily join their deep-sea adventure.
