YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “Shangri-La” by YACHT

I feel like I’ve written The Owl Mag’s YACHT chronicles, at least as far as videos are concerned. The band’s films have run the gamut from uber-weird (“Utopia”/”Dystopia”) to slightly-less weird (“I Walk Alone”) to downright normal-ish (this latest offering, titular track “Shangri-La”). Over the course of my reviews, I’ve come to the conclusion that Claire Evans and Jona Bechtolt can do no wrong–and this endearing video just proves my point. I’m all set to join their utopia.
