Datarock’s new EP surprisingly concludes with a trance remix of the title track “California” by Souldrop. The accompanying video recalls generations of decadent live performances, from ’80s hair metal to ’90s boy bands to ’00s ringtone rap (not to mention the artists who mock them mercilessly).
