TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 9/2/2021

Welcome back to another week of Tracks. Starting to feel fall coming on, and this week includes some of our more anticipated LP’s of the season. This time out we kick off with “Everybody’s Birthday” from Hana Vu. Her new LP Public Storage is due out 11/5 on Ghostly International.

Rick Maguire continues to conjure magic, blessing us with a new Pile release, out now on Exploding In Sound. “I Don’t Want To Do This Anymore” is from Songs Known Together, Alone.

Circuit Des Yeux is the ongoing project of Haley Fohr, and“Dogma” previews the new LP -io, out 10/22 on her new home: Matador Records. Two album release shows are scheduled: 10/22 at the Knockdown Center, NYC and a homecoming celebration at Thalia Hall in Chicago on 11/21.

Winding out this week, the unsinkable Parquet Courts are back in business with “Walking At A Downtown Pace”, from their forthcoming LP Sympathy For Life, out 10/22 on Rough Trade Records.
