June 04. 2020 | By Wayne Jessup

This week on Tracks, we’ll get things started with a double shot of Australian goodness, checking in first in Melbourne with Sweet Whirl. “Something I Do’ is the first single from her new LP How Much Works, released last week on Chapter Music. Moving on to Sydney, “Volcanic” is our choice from Gordi’s new LP Our Two Skins, due out 6/26 on Jagjaguwar domestically and Liberation Records in Australia.

Boston-based Bad History Month keep it going with “Waste Not”, the epic from April’s Old Blues, on Exploding In Sound Records. Pete Kember, AKA Sonic Boom, walks among us once again. “things like this (a little bit deeper)” is from All Things Being Equal, out this week on Carpark Records. Winding things up on a high note, Australia’s Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever is back with “Falling Thunder”, from their new release Sideways From Little Italy, out this week on Sub Pop.
