TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 5/28/20 Edition

Melbourne’s Tropical Fuck Storm gets the party started this week in their own inimitable manner. “Suburbiopia”, their latest offering, is out now on Joyful Noise Recordings. In the middle of some epic life changes, Laura Stevenson takes some time to reflect on new single “Time Bandits”, following up her 2019 LP The Big Freeze. “Addict” is just one of the many charmers on Lizzy Farall’s debut full-length Bruise, out 3/27 on Pasadena’s Pure Noise Records.

Girlpool is back with a new single “Like I’m Winning It”, which moves forward sonically from their last release, 2019’s What Chaos Is Imaginary. Finishing off this week, it’s Laveda, from upstate NY, with new single “Rager”, from their long awaited debut LP, What Happens After, finally out this week on Color Station.
