Vancouver’s Fine Times are pegged as one of Canada’s bands to watch in 2013, and with good reason. Their self-titled debut is filled with perfect catchy indie pop tunes, full of light and life. Matthew Moldowan and Jeffrey Josiah Powell teamed up with famed producer Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara, New Pornographers) to add touches of fuzzed-out pop and lush synth arrangements. Overall, it’s a fine first album to add to

the synth-pop wave. Fine Times are also slated to be at SXSW this month; if you are one of the lucky ones to attend this event, we’d recommend catching their set.
