East LA’s The Pocket Rockets have known each other for most of their lives, and formed a band in 2008 when they were merely high school sophomores. Produced by John Siebel (Eve 6), their new single “Somewhere We Can Be Alone” is a super fun surf bouncer that grabs your ears right from the start. With its danceable bass groove and layers of catchy, yet laid-back vocals, it’s the perfect jam for gettin’ close to that special someone at a backyard barbecue, when the sun starts to set, and romance starts to blossom.

The Pocket Rockets are working on a new release, and if the strength of “Somewhere We Can be Alone” is any indicator, it’ll definitely be something to look out for.
