If you’ve been looking to fill that Galaxie 500-sized hole in your heart, the very last place you might look is Busan, South Korea, but as I stand before you to testify, this is the place. Say Sue Me punch the same emotional buttons as Yo La Tengo, melded with a love of surf music, which makes more sense when you factor in the band’s beloved Gwangalli Beach locale.

A brief history of Say Sue Me is marked by their breakout 2014 debut LP We’ve Sobered Up followed by their 2015 EP Big Summer Night, both released in South Korea on Electric Muse and compiled on a self titled LP that appeared in the rest of the world this spring on Damnably. New jam “Good For Some Reason” is their blazing contribution to a split single with Kyoto, Japan’s Otoboke Beaver (Read more about Otoboke Beaver here). With a new LP on the horizon in January, Say Sue Me have also been confirmed for SXSW in March 2018 with additional tour dates to be announced soon.

Check out the video for “Good For Some Reason” below and purchase the single on the Say Sue Me’s Bandcamp page.
