FROM THE NEWS NEST: Pearl Jam Wants Your Help

This Saturday, February 11, from 10am to 2pm volunteers are needed to help plant trees in Kirkland’s Crestwoods Park in Washington with money donated by Pearl Jam. The band is working with the Green Kirkland Partnership and the conservation group Forterra to offset the band’s carbon emissions from their 2009 world tour through this reforestation project. If you are a Pearl Jam fan and/or live in the in Kirkland, WA area and have some time to volunteer to help Mother Earth, you can show your support and maybe even meet Stone Gossard.
