INTRODUCING: Dylan LeBlanc

August 11. 2010 | By Dustin Shey

Dylan LeBlancis no stranger to this music business. He’s only 20, but his songs will leave you with the impression that he has been at this for decades. His sound is a little country, a little folk, and full of soulful influence. He’s been compared to Ray Lamontagne and Neil Young and at times bears a resemblance to Ryan Adams.

He’s been playing since he was 15 years-old all in and around the south, and it has led to his recent signing to Rough Trade Records. His debut album Pauper’s Field drops 8/24/10 and it is beautiful. Somewhere inside Dylan there is an old soul full of stories and a southern charm that will capture singer-songwriter fans everywhere. Check out the song and video for “If Time Was For Wasting,” below.
