Wednesday at Brick and Mortar turned out to be a low-key night of local music for a few dozen fans. Opening was San Francisco’s No Bone – a four-woman group that played stripped down songs that covered the lighter end of the punk spectrum.
Over from Oakland was the Third Victim of Abigail Rutledge who claimed the middle set.
San Francisco socialites Secret Secretaries headlined with slightly reckless stage antics – there’s nothing like spitting on the stage to class up the joint. The crowd enjoyed the way they’ve borrowed from the Nirvana sound formula.
