While K-pop has left its indomitable stamp upon the world, it was the beach city of Busan that we hold more of an affinity for, and the scrappy underdogs Say Sue Me have done their level best to rep for Busan, with a sound ranging from twangy surf to a one-band romp through the early ’90’s Matador catalogue. Say Sue Me came of age with one of 2018’s finest LP’s, When We Were Together, and the success of the LP inspired the band to quit their day jobs and commit fully, opening the way for their first North American tour, starting in early December.

Kicking off in Toronto, they’ll make their way out west, hitting LA on 12/10 at the Echo, moving on to SF at the Rickshaw Stop on 12/11, and finishing up at the Sunset Tavern, Seattle on 12/12. Their most recent single “Your Book”/“Good People” was featured in TOTW on 10/10; catch up below with their RSD ‘18 covers EP It’s Just A Short Walk From Here.
