HEAR THIS: Man Without Country

June 27. 2012 | By Jon Allmond

Since we’re part of an online music publication, us Owls have developed finely tuned ears so that we don’t miss out on all of the enormous amounts of great new music being released. While there are some bands that may slip under the radar, there are plenty who we land our sights on and absolutely have to post about.

South Wales duo Man Without Country just happens to be one of those groups and with their debut album, Foe, having dropped earlier this month, now is a perfect time for all of you readers to open your ears. Upon listening to the band, you may be reminded at times of M83 or even Silversun Pickups, but regardless of similarities, Man Without Country definitely offers something new. By effortlessly combining crystal clear ambiance with breathtaking electronics and wrapping it up in a beautiful shoegaze sound, they deliver something that everyone deserves to hear.
