HEAR THIS: Library Voices

July 26. 2011 | By Kaitlin Rodriguez

Library Voices come together to create upbeat indie pop rock music that you wouldn’t dare shush in any library, or anywhere. These seven Canadian musicians bring charming boy/girl harmonies and upbeat surf rock inspirations together in carefree “Generation Handclap” from their upcoming EP, Summer Of Lust (out August 23). Slower, “Drinking Games” off their last album, Denim on Denim, utilizes a hand-clapping and tambourine-clashing build up to sweet lyrics, “There she goes again, mixing melody with the memory, she’s got a song for everything.” Do yourself a favor and add Library Voices to your summer playlist; you won’t regret it.
